Orson grew up in a small village to two wonderful parents. His father was a blacksmith and his mother worked to make armor for soldiers. At the age of 10, Orson met his friend Thomas, an avid swordsman who inspired Orson to take up the sword himself. Thomas inspired in Orson dreams of becoming a ranger who protected royalty and those on special missions. Orson struggled at first to keep up with Thomas when they sparred but soon he could hold his own in a fight and became a remarkable swordsman. When Orson turned 18, Thomas died a very deadly flu-like virus and this left Orson devastated. Thomas left Orson his family's sword and that was when Orson decided to set out to make his dreams of being a ranger a reality. Orson left his village of Tonsura and started working a sword for hire, killing monsters and tracking down lost children. By the age of 25, Orson became an incredible tracker and his services were in high demand. Unfortunately, his fear of becoming sick has limited the amount of jobs that he is willing to accept and is very careful about the people that he works for. One experience that truly changed the way Orson worked was when he was hired at the age of 28 to save a woman who was kidnapped by a jealous suitor. When he rescued the woman she stabbed him in the side to made off with all of his money that he had on him and she ran off with the "jealous suitor". Orson is weary of trusting people and now accepts payment up front for his jobs. Orson is 30 now and travels from village to village in search of work.
