Jejies parents were at the bottom of the hierarchy at the time of his birth and only through 'losing' him at birth were they able to start climbing the social ladders. Jejie although physically strong for his height is still weaker than the warriors of HeartLand. Escaping with a fellow slave, Grey, they attempted to join the army but lacking sufficient social standing they were shunned out. Grey lost his life in a second escape attempt from the cities guards after their previous slave masters learnt of their escape. seeking refuge in the goddess' temple Jejie became enthralled in the lure of power. After spending 7 years in the goddess' embrace Jejie realised the sway the goddess had gained over his and his fellow priest minds. Escaping for the 3rd time in his life Jejie fled. Escaping to the rural areas surrounding the small city he was in Jejie hid among the farm houses and forests. Training to become strong enough to be free of the goddess and the hierarchy of his society.
