Gurdur Oatfist, was born in a small village on the edge of the empire where his dad was the priest of the village. His mother gave a item like the cross when he was 4 years old and until this day he never leaves home without it.
When he was 7 years old his village was attack and his parents died in a house fire with all his other siblings. The only reason why Gurdur, survived was due to him at the time getting water from the village well and he fell down the well when a arrow almost hit him. When he was down the well Gurdur was holding onto the item his mother gave him, praying that his family would be safe. When he came out of the well he ran to his house where he found the ashes of his family home. That day forth he made a promise that he would not let a so called "god " be the first thought to be saved by but his own name. He went on to train with a sword because he wanted to become the best knight in the kingdom and have everyone say his name before the "Allfather ". Gurdur doesn't mind traveling with all different type of people in order to learn new things with the sword.
