Within the trees near Talon's Port, Mono Sound was an orphan and was raised in a monastery during his early years, where she has been taught the history of the Gods. However, As she grew older, it became clear that Mono had obtained the personality of her unknown but odd father. She did not care for her guardians beliefs and religion, or any religion in that matter. Instead, Mono simply did as she wished. She would naturally come and go from the monastery. It wasn't uncommon to see Mono returned from town bruised and damaged; whether it was from bite marks or scratches from animals in the woods, or cuts from knives of 'Thieves' and 'Bandits'. The monks were worried and often fed up with this behavior. But they have no reason to blame Mono, as the forest was the fastest route to the village to collect food and supplies.
That was until It was another day at the monastery that a soldier appeared at the front doors. The guard informs the monks that Mono caused a ruckus in the town's pub and was arrested for the assault and battery of several villagers and soldiers while under the influence. She is also responsible for abducting wild animals and releasing them into peoples homes, As well as the women who attacked countless travelers in the forest. Mono had admitted to both of these accusations, saying “It was to give the Animal Shelters a helping hand” and “Most people don't like the gods anymore, sadly. People are hardly ever willing to give a generous donation."
Although the monks are forgiving, this travesty has proven that Mono clearly has no care for others or her own faith; They make way to the village to release Mono from his prison, but forbid her from returning to the monastery. When they got there however, Mono had already escaped. The ex monk had the aid of her secret orc friend Hound, a ruffian that she had known for as long as she remembered. Hound had taught her martial arts and hunting, the art of robbery, basic weapon training, and now Hound is helping Mono escape to safe lands
Mono now lives on the run and does what she can to survive. She has buried any trace of her involvement with Hound or the monks and lives in a more relaxed manner then she should be.
