Andor was born in the Kingdom of Norland, far to the west in a tiny village. His mother died when he was very young and he can now only remember her in glimpses, Andor's father never told him what truly happened to his mother. Life was harsh in the wilds of Norland and every day his father would hunt for food so that him and his older brother wouldn't starve. At the age of 12 he would begin to go on expeditions with his father and brother to find food alongside a few other members of the village however after a few years of hunting his father started acting peculiar and he started to leave out frost vine after hunts and leave strange messages. He even left the village entirely without telling anyone for days sometimes even weeks, he justified it by saying he was selling meats in the capital but Andor knew there was more to it than just that. One day his father left them once again but this time he did not return. Andor was barely 15 years of age when his father left him.
After 3 months of their father being missing He and his brother were forced to leave the village as both of them were not old enough to own the cabin so they decided to seek out their father to find out where he might be, they searched the mountains and tundra even as far as Karsograd, they found no sign of him. After failing to find him they decided to head south to the Empire where their uncle presumed to have lived as their father told many stories about his talent at fletching and how he left to set up a fletching business in the Holy Orenian Empire. They found their uncle of which they had not met before this point and stayed with him. They eventually became his apprentices and were taught how to make finest arrows for many years to come. The Sedan Rebellion brought many orders in from the empire who were in great need of arrows for their archers. The hours were long and tough but the three of them had to work their hardest to fulfill those orders. When the rebellion was over Andor decided to leave it all behind and go to search for his father but he would be going alone, his brother was not willing to search for his father who had been missing for nearly 10 years by this point but Andor could not just sit around making arrows for the rest of his years. He needed to find out what truly happened to his father that fateful day...
