He was birthed in the Norland capital of Varhelm. His parents were jobless except for the occasional tasks given to them by tavern owners and the like. As a result, his parents were poor and hoped that Alrith would pursue an education to get a well paying job. His grandfather had a profitable shop settled on the new land in Camp Olaf, which was where most of the family's funds came from. His family had been living in Varhelm since the evacuation of the previous realm, Arcas, but remained in the lower thresholds of society. He was the sole child and didn't have many friends, but found comfort in books. He didn't attend a formal school but was able to teach himself effectively, which is where he found his love for the Red Faith. With birthday money, he would buy books and pages on the Red Faith and other scholarly topics. As Alrith matured he began to explore lands other than Varhlem, where he became more sociable albeit unable to maintain any relationships. When he was 18, he had made a profession out of teaching others on the street. However, he decided that he wanted more in life and left to explore, leaving the opportunities endless.
