Frederick was born to a family of guardsmen along the boundaries of the providence of The Holy Orenian empire, his family has been the guards of royalty, VIP's, and supply lines for decades. Due to this, since the age of 8, he was trained in various forms of combat for 10 years. He soon found being a guardsman to be boring, and decided not to follow the family tradition of being a guardsman and decides to be a mercenary instead. Looking for adventure, he then takes his first job, which happened to be taking the offensive against a campsite with ologs and goblins which were raiding small villages nearby. Along with the companions he had at the time, he took down the majority of the population at said campsite, when the tribe leader emerged, he(the tribe leader) charged towards them, and killed off Fredericks' companions. Frederick was nearly killed with a well-placed blow to the torso. However, unbeknownst to the olog tribe leader, a brigade led by a noble (who wanted to gain some political power) that was nearby also answered the calls for help from raided villages and trampled him(the tribe leader) with cavalry. After nearly dying, Frederick starts taking jobs that were less... intense throughout the next five years. However, while the danger of nearly dying had passed, deep down, he still has a big fear of ologs.
