Masha was born after the split of Vira'ker, her family followed the Onyx Sanctum and were traditional and very wise dark elves. As turmoil arose within the multiple sects of dark elves, Warhawkes attacked their village and the attackers deliberately burned many homes. The attack resulted in assailants taking Masha as political prisoner in the wake. All of this happened when masha was around 5. For the next sixteen years Masha remained a political prisoner, doing labor on a Warhawke farm before eventually escaping to seek haven in the forest where she hid for another two years living off foraged plants. Masha was emotionally wounded and refused to interract with others for those two years, but eventually realized that her faith meant nothing if she could not connect with her family so she found her way home. When she got home, her parents for some reason did not embrace her and she was never able to reconnect. One of Masha's biggest pains was the ambiguity around why her family didnt take her back, she was never given a reason. Masha found her self at New Maraga'lin looking for work so that she didnt have to forage anymore and since she had no family, she found herself working at a pub where her specialty was making herbal drinks for the patrons. She enjoyed this after being away from civilization for so long, she was able to interract with many different races and hear many different stories about their experiences, and she learned a lot from the conversations here. Despite this though, Masha stayed very reserved and refused to make or hold close friends, she lived a lonely life outside of the pub, but she has plans to open her own pub one day so that she could never be lonely.
