Mathrira Holyeyes was a highlander born at the border of the Kingdom of Norlad, far into the North. She lived in a family that tended mostly to her physiological needs, disregarding at times most of her emotional ones, and thus, she grew up a lone wolf whose thoughts about the rest of people are that they will always abandon her. She didn't receive much education, however, she was taught how to read by her father, who was very religious and strongly believed in The Allfather. She took after him and learned from him about the important figures, such as Thoromir 'The Herald' and Arthas 'The Patriarch'. Mathrira learned to tend to cattle alongside her parents and, being their only child, her father taught her how to hunt. Her father, Venvork treated her as a male child and that's how she started to have a taste for adventure. She grew up to be really introverted and she often has the habit to self-reflect on things, although the loneliness often got to her. She quickly learned that people can't be trusted, that they can betray you, that they can do various things that can hurt you. In short, she had a hard time at socializing and making herself accepted, but she didn't know why. She would often get out of their home and wander around, staring at the night sky. She was careless with her well-being but her fairness saved her from getting robbed on countless occasions. Although she rarely saw books, she believes that they hold huge amounts of knowledge that she might use to her benefit. Despite her upbringing being so harsh, she's trying to make a name to herself, but she's torn between two worlds: she doesn't know if she will choose the path of erudition or if she should carry on by the Norlandic tradition that says that if you die, it should be with a weapon in your hand. She currently enjoys riding horses most.
