Born in near the centre of The Kingdom of Haense to a humble, unprivileged family consisting of generations of brave warriors, who were never acknowledged publically. He has an older brother, who is currently serving at war, and a deceased father whom he only knew through the stories of his mother and grandmother, since he only got to see him as a baby.
His family had a period of financial instability due to his mother's glover shop (she made and sold gloves) being extremely low on customers. Due to this, he has a mostly incomplete education; he doesn't know a lot of the kingdom's history aside from the religious sermons his mother forced him to go to. He doesn't know maths either, aside from simple addition and subtraction. He's unable to read maps, only knowing his kingdom of birth is close to to The Kingdom of Norland, but his brother taught him to guide himself through nature, through flowers and trees, through animals and sounds. The only thing he is good at is physical activities, though doesn't necessarily peak at them.
