Tashkent Orat has had a life full of experiences that he-to an extent-enjoys talking about. When Tashkent was four, his father divorced his mother because his father disliked Tashkent for an unknown reason, so Tashkent had to live with his mother. This is unusual for dark elves, as dark elves family ties are typically very tight. And so he and his mother moved to another home in the Onyx Sanctum. His mother made a living from cartography, which Tashkent made a hobby out of due to seeing his mother so invested in it. He thought he was going to be a cartographer in the future, but he later changed his mind after reading a book regarding the one and only Khel Oussana. Tashkent was invested in Khel, specifically with the fact that Khel's father booted him out of the house. Although there is a different reason for Khel being kicked out, Tashkent likes to go with what he thinks: Khel's father did not like him. He thought this because Tashkent wanted someone to relate to, but the other dark elves he talked to had close families. So the six-year-old Tashkent told his mother he wanted to be a noble, and then his mother laughed and said "okay, get me money after you become one." At age seven he read that you couldn't just "become" a noble, so he dropped that immediately. He then went along his life, forgetting about his father and deciding to work on cartography so he could have a decent job in the future. But then he found that to be a daunting task, and dropped that as well. At the age of nine, he realized he didn't have a friend. He started talking to children around his neighborhood, but they were all energetic-too energetic for him. He immediately assumed that their energetic and jovial personality will rot their brain and cause them to not make rational decisions. He eventually found a girl-whose name he forgot-who wasn't energetic at all. She liked to study and read. She also had a satirical sense of humor. Tashkent ask the girl if they could be friends. And she said, "no, but acquaintances is fine." Tashkent did not know the definition at the moment, but said "okay" anyway. At first, the two were getting along. Tashkent made jokes, she laughed. She made jokes, he laughed. Eventually, Tashkent got too open with her. He said that he hated stupid people, people who disregard others just because of how they look or act. The girl said that Tashkent was being hypocritical, but Tashkent denied her statement by saying "I know better." This marks the day the girl became more passive aggressive towards Tashkent. Tashkent noticed almost immediately, and asked the girl why. She said that he was being "corrupt" and that he wasn't in a good "state of mind." Tashkent didn't care, however, and just laughed it off. The girl said she was serious, and then Tashkent asked why it was a problem, as it wasn't affecting her. But she said it was, and Tashkent never knew the reasoning behind that, as the girl just flat-out ignored him and made new friends. Tashkent's life resumed as it was before the girl started talking to her: boring, as he states it. He tried to get back to cartography, but remembered how uninteresting and daunting it was, so stopped. Then he fell into a state of depression. A sudden realization, is what he called it. His mother wasn't that close to him, as she only talked to him when he initiated a conversation. His father was out of question. His relatives lived in another city, so they barely ever interacted. He didn't want to make friends with new people, as he thought that it would just be the same scenario with that girl. At the age of seventeen, he contemplated suicide, but then changed his mind. He thought his life was going to be wasted not doing something important. And that important thing-to him-was making new friends. Friends with unusual personality traits and unusual hobbies. He still thought that energetic people were rotting their brains and therefore aren't important and need to be humbled. He didn't want to go out and talk to people, so he decided to become a funeral director and see people coupled up together near a corpse. If they sob, out of question. If they don't, not out of question, but he'd rather find someone else. If they are giggling at the corpse or just don't look like they care... ...then Tashkent may talk to this person and find his new best friend. Besides the friend part, he thought being a funeral director would be relaxing, as you get to know a bit about the person's life, and there is usually food. Ironically, Tashkent didn't like the idea of getting near corpses, so he decided to settle on with a new job instead: becoming a politician. So at the age of 21, Tashkent is settling on becoming a politician. Other facts: Tashkent likes using swords, but using potions are more enjoyable to use for him. Tashkent would like to get married someday.
