As a youngling Astrid was very playful amongst her two older brothers where she learnt most of her combat from. Her parents were very kind and loving and taught her kindness, love and faith as she grew. One day her mother, father and two eldest brothers set amongst themselves to explore the deeper parts of the woods. she awaited their return but to her horror they never returned. many years had passed since them and she was raised by a widowed Mali'ame which made other believe she was soft by not being raised by a male resulting in her losing friends.
