Varren grew up in a poor family. His parents did what they could with what they had for him, and his younger brother. His family owned a general store that didnt do well, and his family eventually lost the shop. the following years were rough, and he had to learn various skills to survive, and help feed his family. Although the shop was lost, and his family struggled he did not have a miserable adolescence, and still looks back on it fondly. After his parents passed away, Varren decided to get away from his home town of Louisville, and start living honestly. He'd heard there was a lot of opportunity in Freeport from his friend Hannibella who he'd exchanged letters with for years, and lived there at the time. With this information he decides to go to freeport in the hopes of finding work, and opening a shop under the same name as his parents shop.
