Awel Guttas was born in a downtrodden, cold, windswept zone of Judi. His childhood years, unfortunately chaotic due to the premature death of his mother soon after his birth, were mostly spent learning the tricks and ways of living necessary to survive in the in the windy slums. A fortunate encounter on his sixteenth birthday changed his life for the better, righting his path and allowing him to channel his cunning and angst towards a profitable working career as a sailor.
Despite leaving evidently positive marks on his psychology, his new condition was not enough to erase the life he had lived in the slums. After just about one year, Awel's ship became the focal point of a series of extremely shady operations which culminated in the mysterious murder of a Judian noble. The motive behind said actions remains unknown, but Awel was soon forced to escape from the city with a small sailing boat, never appearing a second time in Judi.
Still bound to his eldritch religion and pragmatic mentality, Awel is now finding difficulty settling in the Oren Empire, with the many abstractisms of the Church of the Canon causing him great confusion. Dissatisfied with the state of things there, his path would seem to be that of the vagabond.
