Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

Sprites are brought out from the fae realm and into the mortal realm during a full moon. They have little to no knowledge on the mortal realm, and cannot speak any language besides their own. However, as time goes on, if they stay in the mortal realm long enough, they can pick up bits and pieces of a language. But, they can only speak broken sentences, and never a full sentence.

Sprites are the shells of spirits called “Flora Echoes”. They create these shells to protect themselves, and for aesthetic reasons. Their wings can only fly so high, but never high enough to go over walls, or get into hidden places. The earliest sprites known were pets to the druids, but flew back to their home after the September Prince caused chaos. 

When said sprites returned to their home, they began to reincarnate. The sprites had enough sentience and energy to create a new body each time they died. When they die, and they become floral echoes and walk around their respective domain, which is either the Nightfall, Daywards, or Twilight domain. 

Sprites enjoy their freedom, and don’t have a lot of care in the world unless it effects them or the nature around them. Sprites, in fact, know how to speak to plants, animals, and druids. However, to speak to druids, they have to touch the druid to create a bond. That bond allows the sprite to talk to the druid in broken sentences. When talking to plants and animals, they cannot ask them to move, like they can with druids. 

If any kind of sprite dies, or is in trouble, they can release a toxin. If in peril, this toxin can help them run away to safety, since the toxin is a kind of mist and has a radius of 3 blocks. Anyone within the radius gets incredibly dizzy, and unable to focus. This can stop people from attacking or casting spells.

Sprites cannot learn magic, since they are a different kind of being from descendants. Any blight that effects nature effects Sprites. If a blight reaches the core of a sprite, it starts to wither like a flower, and 3 hours later will die. Only druids can heal the sprite, using a special type of healing. Sprites also are vulnerable to Voidal and Dark magic, and if they’re in a 10 block radius around active voidal or dark magic, they will feel ill and uncomfortable.

Moth has moth wings, moth neck fuzz, and moth antenas. She also has some plant aspects, such as her flower hat, plant bulb head, and her Hyacinth body. She is about 6 inches tall.
