Puereist Nihil, is a large, brown-skinned man with purple eyes and silver hair. He was born to a family of six within a human tribe known as the Nihilgethens. A single mother, aunt, and three other children. It was a strict family. The children were to never forsake their faith in Gethniscism. A religion born amongst their tribe believing in two holy entities that govern the world and it's people. It is a very niche religion practice only among those in the tribe. The tribe migrates from place to place, typically preferring colder environments. For the most part, they kept to themselves. They were a strict group of people with intense guidelines and severe punishments for breaking them. Puereist as a child never very much had an interest in the faith and believed it to be a waste of time and antithetical to optimizing their survival in the wilderness. Though he did not vocally express these opinions, his actions did just so for him with. He would rarely listen to lectures, read scripture, or partake in ceremonies. He would be punished severely by his mother, aunt, and other tribe members.
When Pueriest was 14 and ditching ceremony to retreat into the woods alone, he stumbled upon a wizard. The wizard spoke softly claiming that he knew all about the "fake" religion his tribe practiced. He then asked the boy to allow him to display to them that their religion is no more than a sham. Pueriest valiantly agreed. The wizard offered a handshake and Pueriest accepted. The wizard chuckled and began to wave his arms. Slowly he brought his hands above his head and within an instant, the entire village the tribe resided in erupted in flames. The shocked boy glance at the chuckling wizard with fear and shock. The wizard's chuckle becomes laughter as he asks "You think that's enough to change their faith?" Pueriest sprints towards his village into the ceremony hall to find that no one could be saved, all while the cackle rings in the boys head. Charred bodies lined the floor. Even that of Pueriest's family. What was left of the Nihilgethen people was only him. His emotions clouded his judgment along with the incredible amount of smoking quickly flooding the area. Before he could even think about leaving, he noticed that the podium the speaker used during ceremonies was completely intact. Upon it was the written gospel of Gethniscism. He grabbed it before sprinting with tears in his eyes and smoke in his longs away from the burning village into the wilderness. He makes it a good half mile before passing out.
Pueriest gains his consciousness hours later. Noticing in his sleep he had been cradling the book he had taken as a last token of his people. It is at this moment he feels he understands. He believes the wizard was sent by the Gods as a test. He had failed miserably and committed a grand sin. Him subconsciously grabbing the book was seen as an act of God by him. With his faith fully established, he began reading, reading, and reading. Scrounging for food and studying became his life. Years and years go by. He is constantly plagued with the memory of what his sin has done. Pueriest made a vow to never sin and spread his gospel to save others from his mistake.
In near isolation for nearly twenty years, Pueriest had studied, prayed, and strengthened his physical attributes immensely through exercise. He finally has believed himself worth of venturing into the real world to spread his faith. He has now taken on the objective of integrating into a new society as well as attempting to transform it.
