Born to loving parents, Erasmus was a quiet child, he never made a peep in fact! It took his parents longer than they cared to admit to figure out that he was mute, but they loved him all the same. He spent his first 2 years of his life out at sea, as his father was a traveling merchant. At age 7, Erasmus's father tragically died while out at sea, while he and his mother were manning a shop in Freeport, leaving them metaphorically stranded there. Spending what savings the 2 had left, they rent a home and live out the best life they can in Freeport, doing what odd jobs they can to get by while they live there. Years pass, and Erasmus shows no signs of moving on from his father's death, and seeing this after all this time his mother kicks him out of their house at 17 and sends him off on a tradeship destined for the Holy Oranian Empire. He drifts for almost a year, doing what jobs he can for money but not much more. Scared and alone he stumbles upon a Dark Elf named Mosufri, who just will not leave him alone. After some debate and much annoyance, Erasmus, now dubbed "Bowl" because Mosufri can't read his handwriting, travels with Mosfuri around Almaris, aiding in his "nefarious" deeds, wondering just how he'll have to save Mosfuri after the next one.
