Born after the migration to Almaris, he does not know anything about the old world other than what the elders and his parents, who fought in the War of Ironwood, tell him. He knows very little about Almaris and the lands outside of the forest surrounding the village. Veluthe grew in an old small village of wood elves in the woods north of Elvenesse. Being from a family of archers and hunters, he always had a special interest in everything related to archery, which made him become a prodigy with a bow and, in turn, join the hunters of his village at a very early age. Although not the best with following orders, and having a problem with authorities ever since he as a kid, he was very respected amongst the village, and quickly rose up in ranks, eventually becoming the leader of a group of hunters by the age of 17, being the youngest member of the group. His team was composed by the people he grew close to during his early years, which respected his leadership even tho the youngest one was 25 whenever Veluthe became leader of the group. They considered themselves family, and since most of them had their parents taken from them in the wars whenever they were still kids, the group was the only kind of family they ever had. They never left one of them behind, and would do anything for each other. One day, they were sent in a scout mission to look for any dangers and possible problems around their village. Leaving by morning, they eventually came by what looked like a druid hut. Further investigating confirmed their thoughts, but also brought to their attention scary details: the hut had lots of bones and skulls of what looked like humanoid creatures hanging around as decoration. Whoever lived there was not friendly. Such discovery quickly had the group members suggesting going back and warning everyone in the village about it, but not Veluthe. He insisted they waited there for the druid to come back and ambushed him, taking care of the problem as soon as possible. They eventually came to agree with him, staying hidden amongst the trees, waiting for the druid to make his way back to his hut. Veluthe was sure that his skills alone were more than enough to kill the druid, and with his team with him, they had not chance to lose. Once the druid came back, they attacked. Showered with arrows and small knives, the druid got hit sometimes but ran inside his hut. Veluthe's team started pushing towards the hut, but, suddenly, they were attacked from behind. Spriggans. Lots of them. The druid had summoned them in order to defend himself. They tried to fight the spriggans, but to no avail. The Spriggans soon reached them and, one by one, started killing the group members. Veluthe tried saving his friends but, being unable to hurt the spriggans enough to do anything, he watched as his best friends were killed right before his eyes, putting him in extreme shock. When he came back to reality, he started running away, hoping the druid wouldnt follow him. Eventually, when he was sure he was safe, he broke into tears, with the visions of his friends being brutally murdered playing over and over in his head. After some time, he fell asleep. In the morning he decided to go back to his village and tell everyone about the tragedy that took place in the night before. But, when he got there, he was greeted not by worried villagers, but instead by a horrowing sight. Houses broken down, bodies on the streets, destruction all around. They were attacked. By the same druid who killed his team, he presumes. Shocked and scared, he ran. Far. Without ever looking back. After some running, he passed out since he didnt eat anything in a while. An old human man came to find him and brought him to his house. After waking up, the old man treated his injuries and gave him food. Although Veluthe didnt like it, the old man let him stay in there for as long as he wanted. Every night they talked, trading more and more stories about their people. The old man had traveled a lot, and told him all about the world outside the woods, of which he knew almost nothing about. Amazed by what the old man told him, his explorer side grew bigger and bigger, and after a couple of years, he left the old man to explore the world and prove to himself that he is deserving of his heritage as an archer. With no place to call home and an old human man as his only friend, he now ventures across the lands, looking for everything this world has to show him.
