As a young child, Lucrece's father had brought up many stories about the undead relating with Aegis, these stories were horrific and shook most children right to their core. The reason these stories were told to Lucrece was to keep him on the right path without having to get himself into trouble and certain negativity. His mother and his two younger sisters who were infants at the time were both sweet hearted folks, his mother was never a fan of the stories that Lucrece's father had mentioned to him. She thought these horrid stories would refine the boy into a coward and constantly timid as he aged. Moving on ahead of time as Lucrece was at the age of 14 both his father and himself were out on the field gathering grain, a sudden silhouette or figure with a demeanor with a vile look to them had been noticed by Lucrece and his father. As the two were confused on whom this individual was, Lucrece's father had approached them to see what is it they were here for and why they hadn't made their approach or introduction. But before the father was able to bring a word forth, his own life was claimed as the man had revealed a weapon and used it on Lucreces father. And as Lucrece had witnessed the occurrence he ran to his abode and informed his mother as of what happened. As a response she quickly hid the children and Lucrece himself before she grabbed herself a weapon to go face whomever had attacked the father. It was noticeable that Lucrece's mother was self trained in combat so she could be able to keep the ones she had loved safe. Knowing this, Lucrece had faith that she would be able to help dad and defeat the sinister figure.
However all was too late, Mother was unable to figure out where the man had gone, and she was too late to even get her husband the medical attention he needed as he was struck in a vital region that almost immediately killed him.
At the age of 17 Lucrece was helping a neighbor and friend of his situating his friend's elderly mother into her new living place before news had spread that a home nearby was robbed and set ablaze preferably to remove evidence of sort. As Lucrece and his friend were informed, they were quickly able to settle the elderly women into a comfortable place before checking out what was going on. By the time they reached over to the area Lucrece was able to identify the burning structure as his home. He was in shock as this dread overcame his instincts, his vision became blurry as his eyes were already covered in tears, and he was only able to see the conflagrant image of flames ahead of him as well as a few silhouettes one being his friend and a few other residents attempting to head inside of the burning home to rescue anyone that was within it. Unfortunately there had been no survivors and both his mother and sisters were present in the house when the fire had occurred. It is uknown whether the family had been killed during the robbery or when the fire had taken place.
While having no place left to live his friend took on hospitality to allow Lucrece to live with him until he was able to move on from his past and live his own life. Eventually Lucrece moved out and found himself living alone in a small abode with the cremated remains of his family with the belief there had been a curse casted upon him that caused him great misfortune.
