A little elf was found as a newborn by a couple of humans Canonists who couldn't have a child on their own. They named him Celestino, raised him as a human, in a human settlement, in a human land. But Celestino is not a human. Growing up, the traits of his race started being more and more prominent, revealing him as a High Elf.
A very bright child, Celestino tried to always do his best, learn more and learn everything. He was particularly interested in how nature works. His parents though, were nothing but farmers, and kept telling him to lay down, be humble, follow the word of the Church of the Canon, and stop wasting time with his questions. "Go feed the pigs, boy" always said his father.
Celestino grew up sad and resentful. During his teenage years he started truly hating his parents and the Church of the Canon, of which his mother was particularly fond - "Stupid church! What if it's not real?! I could make my own church and everyone would believe that it's the absolute truth!" he said once in a fight with his mother. He got beaten up and punished for it, but that only fueled his hatred and beliefs. He left his human parents at the age of 25, wandering the land learning as much as he could from every source, until he finally decided to settle in a small settlement in the Empire and start building the first shrine of his new-founded religion, the High Purple Church, as his founder, and sole cultist.
