Syynia was born in the southern part of the Alarmis outside of Elvenesse. She was born from two Wood Elves, her father Akaa Vadu, and her mother Falin Ecaf, as an only child. Her father was born from poverty, who spent most of his life working very hard hunting, and farming, to make meets end. While her mother was born from a stable income family. Their romance is a whole other story of its own, but the gist of it is that they were very much in love. When Falin married Akaa she refused to take on his surname, for many reasons, the main being as she strongly believed a surname does not make someone who they are, this being against the majority. For this reason Syynia never inherited a surname, but often uses her mothers when forcefully asked. Syynia grew up in a loving household with her two parents. Her father working hard to provide, and her mother often staying home and taking care of Syyn (often what her mother called her). Her father taught her archery at a young age so she began hunting right when she was able to hold a bow. While she had the perfect and loving family, her father seeked more in life besides staying in Arcas, he wanted to explore the world. Her mother Falin did not want her father to leave. After Syynia was born her mother became very ill. It chewed at her mind, and made her often lose herself. She began going crazy, making up this fear in her head that darkness would take everyone away and destroy them all. This influenced Syynia, hence her fear of the dark developed. Even though she was losing herself, her father still very much loved Falin. But he knew she needed help. So one day when Syynia woke up in the morning, at the age of 7, she found that her father was gone. She never had the urge to go after him as she had her mother to look after, she didn't know if he left to find a cure or if he had finally had enough and went to explore the world. She proceeded to live alone with her mother for the next 10 years, waiting for her father to return. She honed her skills as a hunter, and learned how to cook, clean and do housework. She also held a job working at a near by Inn in Elvenesse. On her 18th Birthday, her mother passed away due to her illness. Syynia continued to live alone for a few years in her families cottage, before deciding she wanted to find her father. Syynia has many side passions and ambitions, one being as she one day would love to learn Druidism, and be one more with nature, however she has yet to take the leap to learn. Her fear of the dark does not impact her journey if she can avoid it. But she hopes to find her father, not sure of what she wants to accomplish when she does find him, maybe closure or revenge for leaving her and her mother, but either way its what keeps her moving forward.
