Kareth was raised in karosgrad in Haense. With his two brothers Akaser and Torin who he was very close with. When Kareth was 15 Akaser was 14 and Torin was 16 they had decided to travel with a trading caravan for 4 years. Until their trading caravan was attacked by a band of elven bandits. Akaser Kareth and Torin were all fighting alongside each other but then Akaser was struck by a blade going through him. Torin killed the elf he was fighting then rushed over to help Akaser but it was to late while Torin was still trying to save his brother another elf came by and pierced Torins heart. While Kareth was still fighting as soon as Kareth saw both of his brothers lie flat on the ground a sadness and dread overwhelmed his heart. He started fleeing while running he found a horse bound to a wagon he unbound the wagon from the horse then hopped on it. But a archer unleashed an arrow from his bow hitting Kareth in his arm he got the horse to start running then he passed out from the pain hunched over the horse. He found himself at a small village getting patched up he told his story to the villagers and thanked them. And then got on his horse and set out he vowed to never lose again and became a small time thieve in a city close to the village and stayed that way until present day.
