Growing up on an Orenian farm with his brother Charlie, William became painfully aware that there was a wider world that was hidden from him. Wanting to explore as soon as possible, he began gathering pieces of travelling equipment from where ever he could. His parents both contracted and died from an illness when he was 10, leaving his older brother to inherit the farm and also take care of him. When he was 14, he became fed up with waiting, and finally decided it was time to leave, much to his brother's resentment. The next four years he spent bouncing around various places, quickly encountering the steep learning curve of surviving on his own. Now older, he is still driven to learn and explore, however he is aware that he has yet to find his calling.
