Ivar grew up in a poor, labor filled village in the kingdom of Norland with two older brothers and sister. Being the youngest, he was often babied by his mother to the extreme. From this, his siblings grew jealous, and did not care for their mother. Ivar's parents decided to split from an enormous rage of argument, quarrel, and mistreatment geared toward each other when he was still a young boy. His attachment to his mother created bias in his subconscious, and so he stayed with his mother, and spited his father when he left with his siblings. Without a father figure, Ivar grew to be reckless, ill tempered and have no manners (unless in the presence of his mother). He thought everybody downplayed him for various assumptions, and so he always strived for more. It was one day that he decided to leave home and look for his siblings to see what had become of them (despite their disdain for one another). Finding out that their lives had taken different paths of much more status than he (his siblings were all separated and living in lavish places- some turned against each other, some allies), he decided to attempt to earn his own keep. He wanted to be remembered as legends were in the past, if only he knew how.
