Originally born in the land of Almaris, Kingdom of Norland, Egbert spent his entire youth serving customers in the local inn of his district. He was sent off to work there by his parents, going through a frustrating economical situation. He grew up doing the same job, learning the importance of helping the community and, most importantly, wealth. Not having many friends, being forced most of his early life to work, Egbert didn't really develop any notable social qualities, refraining from asking others for help, doing everything by himself. He left his job to seek his own fortune, with the goal of enstablishing his own tavern to help others. No specific place in mind, only a place where he could serve as many as possible.
This did not come soon however. Infact, it was harder than he thought - up until the age of fifty, he realised that perhaps working for someone was easier. Still- that glimmer of hope was kept loose in his heart, not giving up and still seeking to reach his objective of opening his own business. He focused on a single thing for so much in his entire life, leaving him mostly uncultured and ignorant on matters of other civilisations.
