Riv was born to an Ork father and a goblin mother. His father was a part of Lur clan and as such indoctrinated Riv in some of the rituals associated with their clan. After earning his first pelt from a hunt, Riv was enchanted by the tale of some travelers that were passing through Krugmar and decided that day he would head out to become a legendary adventurer, believing there was no greater hunt than that for glory. It wasn't long before when entering Oren, where he was incapable of getting a job and at the age of 19 he was forced to steal, and mug his way to each meal, that was until Draken Carzell's smuggling crew came to town. for whatever reason Draken picked him up as he spent a number of years in the crew until it eventually disbanded taking a part of the flag as a sash to remember his time there. After his time adventuring, Riv decided to head home to The Iron Uzg relatively newly christened in its name, his lust for glory satiated, at least for now...
