Zed's mother Dearsora Mímir was a great philosopher often away from home visiting other great minds throughout his childhood. He lived with his father Grygarn Mímir for many years, although he too was secluded away in his workshop as an engineer in Arcas. A lonely upbringing made Zed secluded as well, yet Grygarn periodically taught Zed in the art of crafting and he took quick interest in building on his own. In his middle years he often spent time engulfed in his creations, some small things here and there to make ends meet, but mostly on tools to protect his life(armour, weapons, and most importantly a Chair that doubles as an ale fridge). He seeks out knowledge on his daily quest to become know as a Karumolival, his curse has extended to the greed for more knowledge. Now a days he spends his time in his nook of his house reading and building, although a thin, black cat has made its way into his shop and has decided to call it home. Cats are like thieves and cannot be trusted, whenever this cat is around Zed is on his toes and is now stuck with this infernal beast as a roommate.
