Hime Usagi

Hidden deep in Norland's tundra is what is left of a small rickety shack, and this is what Noktern called home as a kid. Noktern never met his mother, and his father, a banished Svarling, told him she died giving birth to him. Noktern's inherited his father's violent nature. His father beat him as a kid for many different reasons, and few rational. Half-starved and suffering from a few broken bones from his last beating from his father, he limped out of the shack. Hungry, he spots a squirrel unburying his winter stash. Picking up a sizeable rock, he sneaks up on the squirrel and throws the rock at it, striking it's skull, killing it. In his success, he feels a rush he had never felt before, he ravenously eats the squirrel over a hastily made fire, as he ate he reveled in the rush he had just experienced. He found himself remembering that rush as he receives beating from his father, and eventually, he just... snapped. He set up some dry logs they had been saving in the center of their house, and set them alight, his father returning in a rage, their fight ensues, Noktern, who even at a young age was not a fool, stashed a few weapons and has wielding a knife fashioned out of bone. However, he underestimated his father's size, and his father pinned him against the burning shack, and his face paid the price. Eventually Noktern was successful with an underhanded strike. With his father dead and the fire burning behind him, he feels that rush once more. He spent much of his time living much like his father used to as he grew, and has now set his sights for civilization, only one jaw decorating his armor he took from his father.
