I was born to a mother and a father that were very poor. My mother died during child birth and my father was an angry man and a drunk that blamed me for her death. He could never hold down a job for long. I spent most nights sitting in the stables or waiting at the bar to take my father home. I met an elderly gentleman named Wilmear when I was 10 who knew my father and would feed me and take care of me. He would always tell me I was capable of anything I set my mind to. I would always talk about starting my own tavern and he would tell me to to open my own bar somewhere far away so I could escape my old life. Life seemed to be looking good but that all changed when the Oisin Rebellion started and he died during a raid on my village. Wilmear was killed by King Williams men. After that, I took what few belongings I had, and left. I developed a haltered for the king and avoided his authorities. I've met many travelers along the way. I've just been doing small jobs to save money to open my own tavern like Wilmear said I should. But I had some of the people I met teach me to fight because for some reason I felt I was destined for something more. After all, Wilmear would always say, "Prepare for what you don't expect."
