Gjurd was born in a little village called Fjeydorf in Northern lands. hi's mama was a normal housewife and also a farmer. Hi's papa was a village guard but also a adventurer in hi's younger days. At the age of 5 Gjurd lost hi's parents in a village attack by raiders, he could slip away from death by hidden under the house floor and watching true gaps to what was happening by doing that he saw before hi's eyes hi's mama being killed and also hi's papa. As the years passed Gjurd grew up to the age of 15 and live'd on the streets(dirt roads) begging people for some coin food water and shelter. But one a cold rainy day he was sitting outside the local tavern begging for some coin to get some food, when all the sudden the doors flew open and a boy flew out on the road, followed by 2 men. They started to kick the boy and beaten him, but Gjurd didnt look away noonoo he jumped up and kicked the living hell out of the 2 men and took the boy by hi's arm and ran for it. Months whent by and Gjurd and Udolf became closesd friends almost brothers. Gjurd even got invited to live with them and help raising pigs and cows on the farm. Gjurd felt happy he had a family once more. At the age of 20 Gjurd was sitting with Udolf in the tavern after a hard's day work talking and laughing when he overheard a traveller telling story's about great lands he has seen and culture of the Savoyard down South, as well as the Reinmaren men of the County of Freimark under the Principality of Savoy. He heard of the Sons of Saint Tylos, whom the traveler had met, and the teachings of the Church of the Canon, the beliefs that the canonists followed, tales of Saints, such as that of Saint Tylos of Kalden, tales of Aenguls and Daemons, GOD, and the prospect of the afterlife. He had heard of the tales and exploits of Prince Olivier Renault, and the growing vassals under the man. It was then that he knew it was time to follow papa's footsteps and explore the land of Almaris. He said goobye to his best friend and hi's parents and move on to the south.Gjurd waves to Udolf as he is getting smaller and smaller in the distance and turns around with a tear in hi's eye and look up to the heavens and yelld papa im gonna make you happy and proud of me, you will see.
