Arlequin grew up as normal as any Dark Elf, but found themselves intrigued by magic and alchemy. As they grew to be more obsessed with it, their hair and eyes change drastically, hair going from a brown to red and their eyes changing to the equivalent of a void. Going insane at some point, they abandoned the memory of who they were and forced themselves to believe they could create the false dreams of others with the magic they had themselves invest into. So they act more in a sense of an odd Contract Shadow Demon instead of a general Dark Elf but remain the same appearance. They still continue to wander though with their unknown magical abilities, creating supposedly 'promising' deals with an unknown cost, but only leading others to spiral for their own entertainment as they continue to rage for an encore of a story, refusing a Happy Ending to exist. Though, with the cost of their dark abilities, they still have a long time until they can remember who they were.
