Naseim's family was uprooted following the collapse of the Holy Oren Empire. Although born in the desert, his father kept the family moving, hoping to finally find a permanent job, although never finding success. As a child, Naseim liked to spend his time playing with his sister, Fay. The joy his sister brought him would become despair however following her death. The family's money problems forced them to eat carrion, often leaving the family sick, and eventually leading to Fay's death. Following her death, Naseim left his family on a self-given mission to become one of the wealthiest men across the land, promising himself that when he had his money he would come back and look for his family.
