Devery Duskdale is a wood-elf born in The Realm of Elvenesse. His ancestors were the blacksmiths of a dense region of the realm, and that was the desired path for him. He believed that his ancestors shouldn't be able to lay down his path for him, even though he didn't mind blacksmithing. Out of pure spite, Devery ran away at the age of 14. He made connections with people instantly. Starting from nothing, he became a con-artist and a sneaky thief. He stole from those who trusted him, and they would never know. If he ever made a mistake, he would just run away further. He would go from town to town, city to city. As he grew, his father kept looking for him. Devery had never really connected with his father, but more with his mother. Devery cut his hair with his signature dagger and pressed on.
