Rowan is constantly seeking ways to redeem himself for the mistakes of his past. Mistakes that lead to the destruction of his village when he was a child, but fears he'll never achieve what he so desperately wants. He sought training in both sword and bow from the best teachers and masters he could find and convince to train him. He also sought to become a man not just of the sword and bow, but one of science. Studying both alchemy and medicine along with many other things. He's taken that knowledge to design gadgets to aid him in his quest of redemption.
