Lith was born in the city underneath San'Strok in the nation of the Rexdom of Krugmar. His mother died at birth and his father resented him for it (Since goblins have heightened intelligence contrary to what most fantasy portrays them as I'm assuming they have similar relations to humans rather than not caring about family and only R*ping and pillaging) only seeing him as the monster that killed his lover. His father's name was Ceaz. As he grew up his father constantly harassed and made life hard for him at every turn making Lith develop a cynical outlook on life barely caring about anything and being very pessimistic about most things. He was the only child, so it was only him and his father and they were not very rich nor poor either. His father was a fisherman commuting to the fishing town of Hou-Zi for work. Lith was a thinker and sometimes while his dad was away Lith divulged himself in his only solace. Books. Lith's father read and owned many books, for he always dreamed of being something other than a lowly fisherman. He sometimes dreamed of being a king or a knight or a great merchant. Lith had been taught reading and writing by a local artisan Prysz. Prysz always pitied Lith for his circumstances, so he taught him reading and writting in hopes that in the future he could possibly make something of himself. Lith always thought of Prysz as more of an uncle that he never had. With the knowledge of reading and writing Lith read many books about ruling, ancient kings, and past empires and guilds. Lith, like his father, became infatuated with ancient empires, and maybe even the idea of ruling his own kingdom. Maybe he could even be the next Rex! He continued to self teach himself on the aspects of ruling and such. Although it was only the basics of the basics it still was more than Lith knew before. Lith didn't have many friends or relations outside of Prysz, for he just never really had a chance to. His dad saw him as a complete abomination, so he never really let him outside the house besides when he would sneak out when he was working. This short time span didn't allow him to create many meaningful relationships. Every year on the anniversary of his mothers death his father would go to the local bar and drown himself at the bottom of a bottle of alcohol. One of these days a group of rowdy orcs got into a fight with his father. Ceaz was very drunk and when one of the orcs bumped into him he said "what are ye doing ye bast*rd!" The orcs did not take this insult lightly and since they were drunk to they insulted back. This quickly turned into a bar fight, and goblins with their inferior strength stood no chance. His father had his head torn from his shoulders instantly dying. The unruly orcs weren't good to begin with and using the insult as an excuse the quickly killed the lowly goblin. The news reached Lith whom was now 16 years of age as of the incident. Lith was terrified. Not because of his fathers death or a fear of being alone or anything like that, but the fear of the orcs strength. Lith always thought his dad was fairly strong, for he experienced it first hand throughout the years. Lith was not an imbecile, he knew that the orcs were stronger than their goblin counter part, but he didnt realize the significant disparity in strength. In Lith's eyes no matter how smart goblins were they could be put at the mercy of the stronger orcs or ologs at any point. This cause Lith to develop something that not many other goblins had. An identity of its own. Most goblins saw themselves closely related to orcs and ologs considering them brethren, but Lith saw them as completely different races like not alike at all. Lith saw them as a threat to his own race, and if the orcs were to obtain an intelligence on par with their own nothing would really stop them from eradicating the inferior races, for Krugmar was a nation that highly valued strength after all. Lith from then had a new goal. To establish a nation for goblins and goblins only. One that could protect them from the other races and one that could use their knowledge to their fullest extent for the orcs could not do this.
