selyen was born in a big forest on thee outskirts of Elvenesse. she had a nice childhood being taught archery by her father and brother, until one morning her brother was just gone. she begged her parents to tell her what had happened but they didn't know anything. she continued practicing archery and developed a love for shiny things and is an avid crystal hunter. she is well educated and loves reading. her parents told her all the history of the world and told her of how some elves would look down on her because she is a wood elf. she moved away from her parents at about 17 but still lives on the edges of Elvenesse.
