Kiju was abandoned her mother at the age of 16 for completely unknown reasons. She wants to believe that her mother had no choice in the matter and she continues to look up to her to this day. The only thing she truly remembers about her is - She loved peonies, and she was wildly charismatic. So she dye her hair in remembrance of her to ensure she never forgets.
Kiju does have a hard time remembering stuff, like her days as a youngling or her favorite things, so she often gets confused and frustrated. Anytime she tries to think of her younger days, the only thing she can picture are peonies. If someone were to make her angry, she will promptly forget and get even angrier at said someone. So she tried something different; she tried yelling a phrase or name to help her remember certain events, but this backfired as now she just enjoy yelling. Don't be shocked if she yells your name at the top of her lungs for no given reason.
Kiju has a major soft spot- animals. She's fascinated by the beauty of nature, albeit she doesn't quite understand how nature works, she's just happy to enjoy it anyway. Kiju reigns from the outerskirts of Elvenesse, and has a dream to travel to the Fennic Remnants to explore the cold side of nature.
Her absolute favorite thing is dreaming- dreaming of her younger days, even if she has no memory of them, she likes to believe she grew up in a quaint little house with a mother, a father, and perhaps a sibling. She can't put faces to them so everyone's face in her dreams remain blank, but it gives her a sense of security and warmth that someday, somehow, she can achieve this euphoria once again.
