Valryis was a high elf that was raised quite poorly by his parents, his father was a disgraced high elf from the silver state that was kicked out for an addiction to alcohol and being too rowdy for the accepted standards there, and his mother left with them. He was often told off and scorned for little things as his father spent the last of his coin before his 20th birthday in which Valryis went off on his own tangent to try and learn how to wield a sword to defend himself from his fathers wrath. Being too young culturally the high elf was denied in a lot of areas until he met a mentor that went by the nick-name of Jus, who would go on to buy and teach the young high elf how to brandish and flourish his sword before eventually going on to tell him how to fight. It was with his mentor did he practice and train taking up mercenary contracts to fight humans and dwarves before eventually with the breaking out of the war of the two emperors and the signing of alliances between the snow elves and the Holy Orenian Emperor did Valryis go on to join up with the high elves once more to fight with the Renetians as they signed an alliance with the high elves and partake in the long and gruelling war of the two emperors that came out with a victory, causing the high elf to have a rush and thrill from the war. Now since he has missed most major conflicts and even smaller scale conflicts he has a pit that he needs to fill and a desire to fight for the high elves once again! The High elf for the past thirty years in recent history until now has spent his time assessing the political climate of Almaris and is intent on joining in any conflicts to come, and he has picked up his sword after a pit of slight depression and emptiness to fill it with ambition and to prove himself.
