Egon grew up in a farmhouse with two brothers and four sisters. His parents worked hard every day to provide for the family and after Egon became old enough, he too always helped with the field work and other chores. He never learned to read or write, nor did he learn how to use weapons. As Egon was not the eldest son, he would not inherit what little land his parents had, so as a young adult he decided to leave home. He settled in a small village near the big city of Providence, married a girl he didn't love very much and led a halfway good life. He had a loyal friend in the village, but he died a miserable death of a cruel disease one day, so Egon now fears diseases very much. even if he has no children. However, when the dwarves from Urguan declared war on the Oren Empire, his little village fell victim to a raid in which his wife was killed, but he managed to escape because he was knocked down and thought to be dead. Now the homeless old Egon is looking for a new place to live with the hope that he will be happy again someday.
