Whuzmaer Runebraids was born in a small mountain village. His life was good until his mother passed away at the age of 8. Ever since that day his father had become bitter. His father would abuse him and scold him for the smallest mistakes. Whuzmaer had a hard time impressing his father. His father would make him sleep in the freezing cold and give him little to no sleep. He was also not allowed to make any friends, leading to him becoming asocial. After 10 years of abuse his father threw him out of the house at the age of 18, which he thought would better his life, but he soon found out it was the opposite. He had a hard time talking to people, so he couldn't find a place to sleep. After a while he went to his grandfathers house, where he stayed until he turned 40. His grandfather would take him to the forest each morning, training him and hand and axe combat, which are also his preferred weapons. He would also grow to adore animals, as his grandfather owned 2 dogs and one cat, which where Whuzmaers only friends. In the forest Whuzmaer had a hard time killing other animals whilst his grandfather taught him to hunt, but it was necessary for him to grow as a person. He also got a job working as a blacksmiths assistant, where he would also meet some other people with the same interests as him. When Whuzmaer had any free time he would read all the books his grandfather owned. When his grandfather told him he was ready to leave he didn't know where to go, so he went in to the forest, building a small camp and spending his days hunting and training. Now and then he would go back in to the village to trade some goods. This is also where he met his first love interest, Kalhar Morningbeard. A new girl that moved in to the village. He would go on walks with her and help her out when he could. He had been dating her for 2 years when he invited her to his camp, where she had never been yet. She was eager to visit and came the next day. She stayed for and entire week, but at the last day a bear attacked during the night. He tried his best to fight it off, and this is where he got the scares on his left arm and right leg. During the attack Kalhar got gravely wounded and died a week later, devastating Whuzmaer and making him even more asocial. He spent the next 5 years hunting, training, reading and meditating at his camp to block out the pain he felt from her death. He eventually accepted her passing and started visiting the town again. After not having talked to his father for 29 years he decided to visit him, only to find out he had passed the week prior to his return. He didn't know what to feel, because he wasn't sad, but also not happy. The days passed as he tried to process what happened, when he decided to visit his grandfather again for advice. His grandfather told him that he should never give up and when you have nothing to live for, you need to find something to die for. So this is where Whuzmaer began his quest to prove his father wrong, he wasn't a failure, and he would do anything to prove that. That's when he decided to travel across the lands and find a way to prove his father wrong, which he did for the next 5 years, and he still is looking for a way until this day.
