Ikurn was born to a large, extended wood elven family in Elvenesse. Though they were not particularly well off, they managed to get by. Growing up, Ikurn had an incredible relationship with his family, and he was lucky to have a loving and supportive home life. As he grew, his father encouraged him to apprentice in the family business of jewelry making, though Ikurn had no interest in that profession. Though his father tried to convince him, he eventually gave in, respecting Ikurn’s wishes to achieve success elsewhere. On his 18th birthday, Ikurn set out to travel the continent, looking for someone to serve. During his travels, he learned many valuable life lessons and discovered a lot about different cultures, while also meeting many different people. While he enjoyed meeting people, he hadn’t found anyone he was willing to serve. He continued his travels, before finding Elysium. Though at first, the friendly culture of Elysium unsettled him, it grew on him and he eventually got used to it, so he decided to settle there.
