Gnargoth was born into the Sandru clan, a then prominent brotherhood of Orcs housed by a now-defunct settlement up north. He grew up alongside his brothers Borgan and Vigdolg. The three lived a very strict, trying lifestyle. He's always been a victim of extreme peer pressure, having to live up to his companions' expectations or get chewed up by the dangerous environment they'd throw him into without hesitation. Him and his brothers always had eachother's backs, leading to a tight knit relationship between all three of them, a relationship that not everyone in their settlement was a fan of. Despite the three's performance and numerous achievements in battle, they were still seen as weak by their peers. Everyone had the opinion that they'd be nothing without eachother, and many attempts to separate the three were made, eventually leading to a night that Gnargoth remembers very well, and a memory that'll haunt him until the end of his days. During a Nagir celebration in their settlement, three older Orcs were picking on Gnargoth. He put up quite a fight but when put against three warriors larger and stronger than him, Gnargoth was defeated. That's when his older brother, Vigdolg stuck up for him. His brother interrupted the sparring and striked at one of the older Orcs, leaving both of them severely wounded. A huge brawl erupted within the settlement, with Gnargoth's brother right in the boiling point of it - flooding the soil with his blood and pleading for the other two to save him. That didn't go through Gnargoth's mind at all, he left his brother alone and ran away with Borgan to avoid getting stabbed or sacrificed by the rest of their clan. The duo ended up on exile, pursuing a nomadic lifestyle, their eyes set on the deep south, where they journey in hope to start their lives over. The events of previously mentioned night earned Gnargoth the title "The Shiesty", with word being passed around that he in fact set his brother up and betrayed him, just to tuck tail when things went out of control.
