He grew up in Oren with his father. His mother and father separated when he was a few months old. Growing up he always had a passion for sword fighting. Him and his father sparred very often. Ares' father was extremely hard on him however. Whenever he lost a spar his father would punish him. Ares never really interacted with many people other than his father. He was always a little bit aggressive when around other kids, similar to his father's behaviour. One night, Ares was failing to keep up with his father's swings, despite his training that he went through. His father got frustrated, and blinded by frustration, he swung his sword at Ares, leaving a large cut on his torso. Ever since this incident he hates losing duels, or failing anything in general. He avoided duelling his father ever again after this, only choosing people who are physically weaker than him. He left his home when he was 19. Currently he is trying to locate his half brother that his father calls "Karma".
