Born into a family with more mouths then they could feed, Draya's parents had no other choice but to give up their daughter. With heavy hearts, they left their beloved daughter with a note with the name Draya at the steps of a family well known to take in children left at their door step in the outskirts Varhelm, the capital of the Kingdom of Norland. The parents had left their daughter at their doorsteps a mere hour before sunrise. As daylight began to emerge from the horizon, the residents of the home began to awake. The male figure in the home, Wilton, began preparations for the day ahead. For in his home contained over 15 children that he and his wife had adopted with similar conditions to Draya. Upon leaving the house to chop and collect fire wood for the day due to the cold weather that was said to come the next night, the man found a child, barely a month old at his doorstep. He called for his wife, Maida, and she came rushing towards the door. They brought the frail child inside their home and examined her condition. She was pale, cold, and a little malnourished. She seemed to be a descendant of either a Norlander, Raevir, or even both. With her black and grey eyes and black hair, they were sure that she came from one or the other. The couple decided to keep the poor girl, knowing that their hearts would never allow them to abandon such a frail and young soul. Adding to the name her birth parents gave her, the couple gave her their surname, Runestriker. Draya Runstriker, they determined that it was a name that seemed to fit her perfectly. They hoped that she would grow to have a strong will and iron heart. The couple then introduced their new addition to the family to the many brothers and sisters that Draya would soon come to know. Many of the children were excited to have another sibling in their lives, majority of the younger children. However, there were some of the siblings who were furious at the new addition to their already crowded home. They were not happy to know that they were now having to share their already small amount of belongings with yet another person. Throughout the years of growing up in the Runestriker home, Draya had to learn many devious tricks. After she was found at the steps of the home, many others had appeared as well. How her adoptive parents were able to afford this, she would never know. Draya had to learn how to care for the young since her family would continue to grow. Despite that, Draya never really enjoyed the presence of children. Her parents had sent her and her many siblings to a school that was heavy in the belief of The Red Faith. She would learn how to write, read, and speak decently. She was also taught heavily in the Red Faith. Draya had never really understood nor took in the idea of the Red Faith. She understood that The Father was an important figure to many in the Kingdom of Norland, but she never fell deep into the faith herself. Growing up in a home with over 15 other children was never easy. For a good portion of her life at the Runestriker home, her many older siblings would bully her and their younger siblings in general. One sibling in particular, the oldest, Ein, despised his younger siblings since he was the only blood related child to Wilton and Maida. He tormented his younger siblings, through means of verbal, mental, and even physical abuse at times. Sometimes he would get some of the older siblings (still younger then him) to pick on the younger kids as well. Draya hated him for it. She would always try to defend her siblings, younger or older, from his torment starting at a young age. She had obtained many scars, bruises, and even a few broken bones from Ein. Though, not all of her siblings were bad, there were always two of her older siblings whom she shared a deep bond with. Kendra and Centric, whom were actually blood siblings and found together as a child. They were always there for her and tried to make sure that Ein would stop tormenting her and the rest of the siblings even if they were the ones being beat up instead. She dealt with Ein's wrath for over 17 years. During those 17 years, she was never really able to make friends, due to Draya always trying to defend her siblings, Ein had it out for her the most. Because of this, Draya was never really able to make friends. Ein would always either scare them away, "steal them", or spread rumors about her to make sure that no one would ever associate themselves with her. However, after those 17 years of torment from Ein, an event that would cause her so much pain and misery had caused her to leave home. Right before her 18th birthday(her birthday was given to her as the day that her adoptive parents had found her at their doorstep), Ein had planned a horrible scheme to cause more misery in Draya"s life. Recently, Draya had been able to speak casually and familiarly with a male friend she was able to make despite Ein's attempts to break them apart. Draya had started to have feelings of more then friends ship with this boy. Seeing how Ein was unable to break their friendship, he had planned a different event to cause Draya to suffer. One night, Ein had written a message to Draya under the name of the boy she was friends with telling her to meet him in the forest on the outskirts of her home. It was a dangerous area, filled with many dangerous animals. Draya knew this, her parents had told her many a time to never go near that forest. However, her emotions could not stand to think about missing the chance to talk to the one she had feelings with. So, that night, she sneaked out to meet with her friend oblivious to her brother's plans. Upon to her arrival to the designated meeting area that was said in the note, Draya was met with no one. She waited in the dark, hoping and telling herself that he was just late. However, what she did not know, was that her brother had set up various meats surrounding the area in hopes of drawing in those dangerous animals that his parents had told him of. During her wait for her friend, Draya had decided to read the note again. Upon further examination of the note, she began to realize that the note was not from her friend, but from Ein. However, by the time she realized, Ein's plan had already worked. That night, Draya was ambushed by creates of unknown origin due to the lack of visibility that night. Draya could only assume that they were wolves of some kind. She barely made it out of that night with her life. She was left with a scar on her left eye and many others throughout her body to add on to the scars that were previously given to her by Ein. After she barely managed to escape with her life, she ran home as best she could despite losing so much blood. Centric had been the one to find her at the doorstep of their home looking as if she had already passed. Their parents had immediately called for a doctor and was barely a moment too late from saving Draya's life. After she had healed from her wounds, Draya was never the same. She was furious and broken at the fact that someone that was a part of her family would go to such lengths to harm another. Draya had told no one of the events that had caused her such injuries, not even her closest siblings. After the celebration of her 18th birthday, Draya left home. She told no one of her depart. She couldn't take the torment anymore, no matter how much she loved her other siblings. However, Centric and Kendra knew of her plan and saw her off. For 2 years, Draya had traveled around the Kingdom of Norland in search of a place to call home. A place that would accept her. Due to her scar on her face, many shamed her and saw her as an outcast. Draya did what she could to survive, stealing, and even odd jobs. During her 2 years alone, she learned to kill and fight on her own since she would continuously be attacked by bandits. Draya grew cold and trusted no one. After continuous thoughts of returning home to see what had changed, to see if her family was okay. At 20 years old, Draya had decided to visit home unknown to the horror that awaited her. Upon arrival to home, she was met with ashes and nothing but a frame of what her home use to be. She was furious, heart-broken, and revolted. She could not comprehend what was in front of her. She had investigated to see what had happened to her home and found that it was burned down. Not by bandits, not by an accident, but because of Ein. He had grown evil throughout the years and had enough of his retched family so he burnt everything to the ground. He trapped everyone inside and burned the whole home down. He had fled soon after hearing the cries of his family. Anger and sadness consumed Draya. She couldn't believe what Ein did. She was furious...she wanted revenge. After mourning her family members, Draya set off in search for her enemy, her traitorous brother. For another 2 years, Draya would roam the lands in search of her brother. She was bent on revenge and wanted nothing more then to end the life of the one who murdered everyone she loved.
