Aren is the son of Bjorn Ulfhide Clan leader of Ulfhide. his mother died while in child birth while bring him into this world. Aren father gave lessons and told grand stories of there people and there wars. how the ulfhide where a powerful and feared clan. Aren would spend days with his father studying and learning of war and the many tatctus that go with it, and in the afternoon he would learn the way of the bow and axe like every boy of Ulfhide did. this went on for many years until the day of honor when Aren was to be crowned next in line to the throne. A splinter faction of Ulfhide based to the east of Norland attacked during the event. slaughtering and burning the Ulfhide clan till there was little more then ash and blood in the street. yet even after this attack Arne survived, badly beaten scared he survived, Arne Of Ulfhide was the last of his clan. the splinter faction that slaughtered his clan vanished he spent the last 3 years looking, bribing, and killing his way to them and every time he felt like he was a little bit closer it was just another dead end. he now travels city to city looking for the clan that slaughter his. he wants them to feel afraid, he wants them to know he's after them. that's why he his on his most current mission if he cant find the clan he'll just reclaim his and bring the clan of Ulfhide back to its former glory. For Aren that means travleing to the Kingdom of Norland, Aren's Father used to speak of its beauty, But Norland is the last lead Aren has last thing his father ever said to him before his death that "follow the red Faith"
