Benandonar was born in to a small tribe of highlanders that were independent from the kingdom of Norland. The tribe was nomadic in nature and occupied mostly the north-western belt outside the Kingdom of Norland. The Climate of this mountainous region was tough and as he was growing, the rates of infant mortality were high in this tribe which sustained themselves mostly by hunting and trading furs. As such by the age of 10 all of his siblings had died either to disease or inadequate care standards. His father at this point clung on to him, desperate to have his legacy continue trained his son ruthlessly to try and ensure his survival, to which Benandonar begrudgingly complied with, without much of another choice. The other children in his tribe were mostly reserved to other matters, combing that with his fathers vigorous training he did not have much contact with the few of them that were there.
Struggling against impoverished standards and his fathers constant borderline abuse throughout his teens, he reached a turning point in his life where his mother died of an illness. He blamed his father for her death because instead of attempting to buy provisions or treatment for her, he insisted to keep on his with his intense training program. This caused the final argument to break the line between him and his father and as a result he was banished from the tribe in his late teens. From that point on he lived a solitary and nomadic live venturing further south, because he couldn't live alongside many highlanders that simply reminded him of his father.
