Since birth, Hunter was trained to fight by his dad. At age 5, he killed his first bandit, although he did lose an eye in the process. At age 10, he defended against a raid by bandits on his village in Norland, where Yotgrum once lived, but his father was killed during the raid. His final words were "Don't let the family recipe be forgotten." Hunter always questioned why those were his fathers final words. At 17, during a trip to where Yotgrum once lived, but his mother was drunk and walked off a cliff. At 18, Hunter arrived at a distant land, where our story begins. (most of the travel was done in a drunken haze)
