Xades Mátava was born in 53 SA to a humble Savoy family of farmers. He resembles a mix of his Farfolk father and his Heartland mother. He was the youngest of 4 brothers. Being the youngest he was taught about the maintaining and healing of crops and livestock. From an early childhod Xades wanted to learn the ways of medicine and become a good medic. His father would sometimes take him to the city to visit the local clinics. However life took a dark turn when his father, Mulbao Mátava, suffered a fall in their home. The hit was so severe that he began bleeding immensely. Xades tried to stop the bleed as much as he can but it was no use. Mulbao died in his son's arms. This impacted so much Xades that he refrained from his dream and took one the farming life of his father. The Matava family faced a rough time when his 3 older brothers, Mulbao II, Maso, and Aranuel joined the Urguani-Orenian War in the name of Savoy in 70 S.A.. Xades stayed to take care of the lifestock and crops. 2 years passed and the war ended. Once the remaining soldiers returned home, Xades waited for his brothers. But what he saw were injured men and no sign of his brothers. He felt useless, for what if he were there aiding the injured and healing? Xades' curiosity sparked again. He decided to honor his father and brothers by completing his dream and prevent more people from dying.
