Gahain the Goblin was born to two Gobliner outcasts who originally lived in the Iron'Uzg. However, they decided to leave the Iron'Uzg in pursuit of knowledge for the outside world, leaving Gahain inside the city when he was still a young goblin. Gahain met up with two other orcs, who took him in to live among their family. Here he learned the more traditional orc culture of fighting and combat. However, Gahain also became especially intrigued in the academics, as his parents had before him. He decided to remain in the city, where he remained an outsider for not wanting to focus on warfare. However, Gahain still managed to make some friends. Interest in the outside world, however, enticed Gahain to follow in his parent's footsteps and leave the Iron'Uzg. Gahain left the city with nothing but his clothes and a basket of food to sustain him on his journey. His first location was the Free Trade State of Sutica, which housed many cultures. Gahain took several notes of the comings and goings of the city and was able to make some coin off of selling his findings. Buoyed by this, he decided to continue his academic journey, traveling to various cities to document their wildlife and technologies.
