Anunnaki was the child of a nomad tribe deep in the desert. He grew up constantly on the run, but never knowing from, or to what. When he was 20, his tribe found an oasis with a colossal black monolith, and behind it was a large and extremely advanced city. The tribe's leader and a few of the stronger members started using makeshift drills to break through the monolith, resulting in it breaking and releasing an ancient god-beast, who immediately started obliterating the tribe members and the city behind it. Turns out the city was abusing this god-beast's energy to power their entire city, imprisoning it in the obelisk. Anunnaki's tribe was a radical extremist group set on freeing the beast. The newly freed beast obliterated the city so completely that it started tearing holes in spacetime, where Anunnaki fell through several different universes, ending up in this world. The sight of his tribe's blood stained his eyes red permanently.
